Gardening Gloves & Protective Gear
Gardening usually sounds like an easy, peaceful and non-harmful hobby. But mother nature knows how to take care of herself, and certain plants and flowers are a testament to that fact. For example, rose bushes and rose stems have huge stickers in them to protect them from harm, but they can also harm you at the same time. But if you wear proper protection while you're gardening, you can avoid these hazards.
There are so many different types of gloves to choose from, it's going to come down to personal preference for what you want to use. There are of course the standard cotton gloves that are available almost everywhere. They are very cheap and get the job done, but they're not extremely thick and when they get wet it can be days before they're ready to use again. Cotton gloves also don't protect against thorns very well.
For protection against thicker and bigger thorns you should get gloves made out of a different thicker material like spandex or lycra.
